Richard Fuld: My Dinner With Henry Paulson

Fuld's Just Rrewrd

It is my contention that the government provide food and housing for Richard Fuld. I would suggest that we allow him to reside in a big house in Leavenworth, Kansas. There would be no need for a decorator.

I have a Lehman´s bonus and everyday and night I guess why H. Paulson did not bail-out or help Lehmans Brother. That is the point. I live far away from USA, but my bank sell me a bonus from Lehman, everything is going down and Mr Fuld seems to be the only responsible but something doesent fit. I would like to know the explanations of Mr. H. Paulson about Lehmans. My savings deseapear with Lehman and my confindece too.

It's time to man up Dick

Richard Fuld is a criminal, plain and simple. This email simply confirms the collusion between Washington and Wall St. While hardworking people lose their life savings, guys like this cry about only making 350 million over the last 7 years. Unfortunately, I think these slimy people will get away with their ill gotten gains because Washington is as guilty as Wall St. The only way to fix this id for the system to change - American voters have that chance this November. Vote all of the incumbents out of office and send them a message. It is high time for a little bit of justice.

Bank of America was involved

Read a recent article that stated the final nail in Lehman's collapse was that Bank of America was sitting on $21 billion of Lehman funds that they refused to release.

I believe that this entire mess will filter down to three or fewer national banks in the entire country remaining standing.

Good luck on seeing any reasonable loan rates or interest on savings when that happens.

financial mess

Of the four people running for president and vice president there is only one whose hands are absolutely clean of this Washington mess, and that is SARAH PALIN of Alaska. You can't get much further from Washington than Alaska. Her lack of the experience that the oposition keeps citing doesn't worry me in the least. I'm glad she doesn't have that experience. That is one reason I am voting for her.

Fuld Knew Exactly What Was Going to Happen

Let's find out where this pig lives. Surround his house and make him have a garage sale for all his stuff,. Then sieze all his assets and sell them to the government at the current market value. Then we put the guy in prison for the rest of his life and make him do work for free, like adding up columns for people and if they are not correct, waterboard or other punishment.

These guys set up an illegal casino with investor's money and the government set up a bailout for his ilk. He acts like he knew nothing about what was going on and was surprised. Bull.

These guys are crooks and need to do time.

I saw this coming since early 2005 and called all my friends and asked if they heard the bubble burst. Only one friend agreed with me, she is in escrow. I'm a real estate appraiser who recognized the signs of a bailout because I worked for FSLIC, FDIC and RTC cleaning up the last mess in 1989-1995. I'm looking forward to getting busy doing honest appraisals since they are much needed now, but it is like appraising a moving target.

Only problem letting bankers do the bailout is they know nothing about real estate. They caused the market to decline more than necessary to sell assets to their buddies at really low prices. They also wrote down loans to really low levels for developers who had cheated on these loans.

McCain is a de-regulator. Bush was a non-regulator. We need honest people to take care of this and unfortunately ethics go out the window when profits are plentyful.

The banks systematically found appraisers who would give them the values they wanted. These were nubies who never saw anything go down. The frenzy initiated by Greenspan caused this mess, now he's doing talk shows to place the blame on others.

These sociopathic liars need to be exposed. I am grateful for CSPAN and the public hearings and questions to these people. We deserve to see these high-flyin' guys hit ground, but they won't suffer financially because all their assets are in LLCs or other's names and holding companies. They are plain old snake oil salesmen. Think of them in the same category of the guys who would sell you an SUV and cheat you when they add the extended warranty. They are slime and need to be punished.

Their ability to deny, deny, deny is their greatest asset. Let them not get away with more lies on top of their old ones. Put them in Prison and see how they like being a crook. Just because they didn't break and enter to steal your tv and jewelery doesn't mean their hands are not as dirty as a junkie who robs your house for his drug.

I am glad this happened. We need a leveler. Greed has taken over as a quality instead of a handicap. We don't even count the money we spent on the war in our budget. Lots of crooks there. Capitalism is not a religion. It is necessary to regulate human greed or we get what we have today. People should start their own banks with new regulations that prevent gambling!

Fuld Prayed on Suckling Capitalist Pigs

I agree with Dr. Larsen. Fuld should give the money to something charitable. Fuld is not the naive executive he would like congress and us to believe.

A huge fallout of all of this is that there is now a whole generation of people who are used to living off of debt instead of hard work. America is gettng soft and has adopted an attitude of appearence over substance.

Didn't Machael Milken start all of this with junk bonds. And when he got out of prison they were lined up around the buildings at UCLA to figure out how to tap into the money.
