'Extreme Makeover' Home in Foreclosure

Back to blog

What

I just saw this episode tonight and remembered a home in Atlanta in forecloser. That was one of the most beautiful homes that they have built. I just can't believe it! These people couldn't just be content. They got greedy, apparently blew that $100,000 gift, and now their children will suffer again. They don't deserve the opportunity that they were given. Well, now someone else will get to enjoy that gorgeous home.

extreme makeover

I struggle every day to make ends meet in a tiny house, I don't even have a back yard and every month I pay. These people shouldn't have let their possible dream take away their reality, of course with money being thrown at them maybe they thought they were indestructible. What a sad waste of money, time, and effort. On these shows not only do they have their own crew of people that comes in to build, the community helps too. Hopefully now they can some how see what type of people they are giving houses to.

Crazy

Why would you put a loan on a house that was basically given to you?? You just take it and run, you don't put collateral on the house. Dang.

They Should be in foreclosure.

What a way to throw away and mismanage your money. A free home given to you and your family, taxes paid for 25 YEARS!!!! What more could you want??

PURE GREED!!!!!!!!

WHAT???

Did you not read the article. b of CT, you are a freaking idiot. Extreme Home paid the mortgage...IN FULL and gave them enough cash to pay taxes on it for 25 years!!! The house is being foreclosed because they can't manage their money. You can't hold everyone's hand through life. Kick their ass out and stop feeling sorry for them. You don't get a free ride through life just for being retarded. Because this is happening in Clayton County...I'm not surprised.

hey everyone doesn;t extreme make over home editon do a wounderful job on the houses and the bed roomes that they do in the house did everyone see sunday night show? if you did not see the show it was very sad ok well this 8 year old boy could not walk at all because he broke everything in his body and the house was not safe for jack because is mom and dad was afraid what if he falls and he wouldn't be here the next day

let's just say it was a very sad story than the got a wake up call from the designing team and the family was very happy to see the deigning team because the family know that their life was going to chance.

Really sad for the kids.

I saw that program and I really thought the parents were really thinking about there children. I feel that the parents made a bad decision in how to bring money into the house hold. What's going to happen to the little doctor? Will he still think of being a heart doctor. I can't judge the parents because we don't know why they made such a bad financial decision. How said for the boys to start all over again with there parents.

some peoples/ greed spirit

some peoples just don't relize what it means to have a decent roof over their head or. any roof.. i believe this family knew what they was doing. they just got in over their heads and did'nt have a life guard. and sunked. i feel they coned the home ediction and got coned. most every good careing helpful way out their are beening coned in some sort of way. peoples takes the advantage of a goo thing and ruin it for peoples who really do needs it.all cons are not rich.most of them is poor. i know i live in los angel ca which holds the tiltle record of beening the bigges cons in the us, and i know this are true. i am a serviing victim of much real estate fruad and still fighting.what kind of business were thease peoples was trying to set up. with that kind of money. they wasted the tax money then wast the money they borrowed. they wad not thinking of their kids of their selves. they just was not thinking at. the greed spirit took them over. and put them in a worst shape than they already in. all i can say is. may god be with them and their kids. beccause a blessing like that don't come offten.. but it can come. god bless.
