Eddies money problems

$4.8 million in morgage loans, at his age, come on, give me a break. Buy a two bedroom home for $200,000 and get over yourself. It's not like he has a huge family at home. I hear Donald Trump bailed him out of that. Hey Mr.Trump, I am a Soldier, defending our country, come give me some cash. I don't need near that much.

Veteran of Korean War

Ed should have had a better financial adviser or should have had a better retirement fund and he would not have been in this situation. I am a veteran of THE COLD WAR, serving in Germany from 1960-1963. I have very high respect for Mr. McMahon in what he accomplished in the Korean War. 85 artillery spotting missions is the work of a true hero. I missed him in Media, Pa. on memorial Day. I would love to meet him just to salute him. He also was a commissioned officer in the reserves, highly decorated. Well done, Im glad Mr. Trump was able to help this 85 year old veteraWhat is happening to these poor people who are slapped with a foreclosure notice is one word...GREED. We fellow Americans should be trying to help one another, not scalp one another.

WE LOVE ED

Come on, why be mad at Ed. Heck, I'm 62 and grew up enjoying all the years with late night.

This man is an ICON in the United States.

He is like a Bob Hope figure, everyone loves the man.

I sure hope someone comes along, helps him out when he

is down and out with a broken next at that.

85 years old? How about that.

He made some mistakes

Well he made a few mistakes, so what. During his years of plenty he put a lot of smiles on a lot of peoples faces and gave a lot of time to charity. I still think he has a lot of fans out here, who would help him if they could with anything they had, to save this house or to get a smaller one. I'm an inventor and I have the right product for you so you can work from home and allow millions of fans also to help you. please e-mail me at vanessafaller@sbcglobal.net.

Thank You

Best Wishes

Searching for the fans of a man with indestructible class

OMG! Nothing like kicking a dog when he's down! Most of these comments reek of jealousy from a level of people that take pleasure in seeing a celebrity icon shot in the knees. Even worse, from some of the same couch potatoes that enjoyed seeing Ed each evening as they welcomed Johnny & Ed into their living rooms. Maybe Ed will lose his home and maybe as he approaches his final curtain he has not accumulated the finances he has worked for his entire life (but at least he was working!). Poor choices, poor decisions and poor investments have landed him into a new "income bracket". However, in this dreaded chapter of his life I'd bank there is nobody out there that will face this with more grace & class. Something some of these people with these vicious comments lack. Someone made a comment of Willie coming back on top which he did because of his raw talent, which I suspect is also something Ed has as well. Of what I have seen of recent interviews with Ed, he is not taking the victim role but admitting to his poor choices & decisions while holding on to some hope of keeping his home. He does not HAVE to do these interviews. Perhaps he is getting SOME money for doing some of the interviews but I'd bank he is also doing it because he wants to continue to relate to his viewers. Some people's success is only achieved by walking over top of people along the way but Ed McMahon achieved his success while putting smiles on people's faces along the way. Enough comments & "I told you so's" from the good weather fans. Let's hear it from those that love him no matter what.

Eddie Mac

He bought his house for like $2 million...the other $4 million on his mortgage was a home equity loan...he took out twice as much in home equity as his house originally was worth!!! Bad move Ed.

You spent more than you earned

Like many americans who believe that somebody will save them, Ed and His wife kept refinancing his home, probably now worth only $3 million. How you you say Upside down or Stop spending and move to a more affordable house. Too many Boats, cars, dinners, travel. Sammy Davis went out broke, Peter Lawford went out broke and now Ed Macmahon (Too many Big Mac's) will go out broke. Nothing new with Celebs! Too much money too fast.

Mick Jagger got a business degree, handles all his money and has all his stash and lives a comfortable life. Ed will have to look for the Light On at Motel 6!
