Why do you care

I hate when people say..Why are athletes and celebrities paid more than teachers firefighters etc. We'll if you know about business then you understand you generate value then you get a percentage. Why do you think people go to these games and events to see the players, duh. For example I went to Penn State and Beaver Stadium holds over 100,000 people. Think about how much money is being generated from ticket sales, over priced food and beer in professional games, not to mention jerseys, sneakers, television rights etc.Simply said these sad stories just reiterates the fact that there should be guidelines to becoming a professional athlete.. like graduate college. Most jobs now do not take people who do not have at least a bachelors degree, it should be the same because these entertainers have no sense of money management or business knowledge. Likes seriously, all you need is to invest a little and spend less than you make. But I don't feel sorry for them, they were given many chances in this lifetime, more than normal people will ever get and I can care less if they get their houses taken away. But yes I do think they should make what they make. They also pay more taxes than us so they contribute about half of what they make anyway lol.

You were offered more money to play one season then most people will ever make in there life time and the public is suppose to feel sorry for you. What about firefighters, policemen, military members who put there life on the line and then the Educators whom or just as overworked as our military with crappy pay. If his math teacher would have been paid those millions maybe he would not be having this problem. Just because you make a few million a year does'nt mean you have to spend it in a year. I'm sure he has spent more money in one night of "Ballin" then I have been able to put in in my savings account in a year. Atleast he will not go hungry I'm sure it will be plenty of humble pie in his future as a matter of fact there will be plenty to go around for all the Celeb's that have blown there wads. Oh yeah if you really want to be a hero the Military is always hiring!!!! Come join us we might not make millions and drive really expensive cars and live in big homes, but we learn to cherish the little we do have.
