and what about all those dipsh1ts out there who say...'well, i like the guy and if I thought he would win I would vote for him...so I'll vote obama!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!'

Ron Paul or Bust 2008

What happened to the Constitution?

Our own gov't doesn't believe in the constitution anymore, Paul excluded, from immigration to economic policy. I hope I'm not one of the elite when the crippled masses rear their ugly heads. It's a shame Americans have grown to ignorant to see what's coming before it takes this country down the tubes. Anybody think we can survive another 4 years without Ron Paul in office?

Financial Crisis on the Horizon.

I feel that Ron Paul is correct on our financial problems. He would be the only candidate I feel that would do something to help our country get back on track. I am getting so sick and tired of hearing about McCain, Clinton and Obama ( the three stooges). I truely hope the American people will wake up before it is to late. We still have a choice in the election! Ron Paul. I will vote for him no matter what.

The MSM starts to wake up

The Fed's mistakes. Inflation. A weak dollar.

The mainstream media is just beginning to acknowledge these problems. Ron Paul has been preaching this story for years. Why doesn't the media wake up to the fact that this man is the closest thing we have to a political prophet. Take him seriously, give him space to communicate his ideas and maybe we can avoid the fiscal and societal disaster that is otherwise a virtual mathematical certainty.

China

....thanks for the loan!

Our country desperately needs the economic stimulus. Our children promise to pay you back with interest. We promise to spend a large portion on goods produced by you. If needed, can we count on you in the future?

Thanks again

Voice of wisdom

I'm afraid Paul is correct, again. It's not a rosie picture but it is the handling.

Paul is the only legislator today with precise answers to the economic woes we're facing. It's a real shame the way that vested interests in control of the media deal with him.

I also voted for Ron Paul, so I can't be blamed for this moronic scene that's playing out.

"What you are saying is exactly what Ron Paul has proposed. He has come out and said that the welfare state cannot just be shut off. This is why he is so vehement about cutting all of the foreign aid and pulling our military back from it's bases all around the world. The money that is spent on empire - literally trillions of dollars of it - should be spent on the people at home, and not as an increase in welfare as some people have tried to slant it - but as a stopgap to avoid national financial meltdown - and to wean people slowly off the system."

Not to mention the social and civil meltdown! Can you say, "civil disorder"? Can you then say, "martial law"?

Bailouts

1) I have financed 100% of homes and had no problem accepting the risk, keeping the property up or paying the loan back.

2) I financed my son's business, it went bust, I'm still paying, we didn't ask for a bailout.

3) If the bank really does not want to foreclose, they can re-negotiate the interest rates. Fact is, the banks want those properties. They will hold them and sell them later. That was the design of the risky loans they signed on to. Plus, they will get a feed at the government teat.

4) That does not excuse people who borrowed money from the money changers. When they offered me some scheme with interest only loans for the down and adjustable rates it made my head spin. I walked away. The loan salesmen and the banks that back them duped many people into taking these stupid loans. They are nothing but slick salesman. (and women) One even tried to sell me a refinancing scheme for my home that would have me paying more money than I borrowed in the first place.

5) Culpability- Banks 80%/Borrowers 20%

6) House flippers who borrowed took a big risk for a big return. I admire their guts but I hope that they are not asking for a bailout.

7) It's all pretty sickening. I just sent a check to the IRS (like many others) it will be used to bail out banks.

8) I voted for Ron in 88 and I will again in 08.

Ron Paul

I am a District Delegate to the state of Missouri GOP convention and an alternate to the congressional convention.

Becoming a delegate is not that hard and there has never been a better time to get involved.

BE the people!!
