X-Men Origins: Stan Lee (A Business Success Story)

Stan Lee

I think that Stan isn't offered enough credit for what he's done for Marvel. Without him they wouldn't be the multi-million dollar franchise that they are today. Prfits especially from Hollywood blockbusters wouldn't be there if it weren't for him. So Mr. Lee thank you for all you've done, even if Marvel isn't willing to admit your greatness.

POW! Entertainment

The federal court ruling didn't take away any of Stan Lee's creations that he's working on with Disney. The ruling was actually favorable to Lee and his POW! Entertainment company and his detractors have made false statements to spite him. POW! should be a dollar per share now but is only around 9 cents. What a great investment it is right now! The NY Comic Con is being held today and some big deal might be announced in conjuction with Stan's company. The stock should skyrocket very soon!

Stan Lee and POW!

Yes, all of the deals Stan has made for POW! are problematical. How could he make the deals when he didn't own the properties? The bankruptcy judge was very specific and Stan signed an agreement as the president of SLC LLC to exploit the properties for the benefit of creditors and shareholders. He never formed SLC LLC. Instead, an insider illegally transferred the properties to QED, a POW! subsidiary. Two and a half weeks ago in federal court in L.A., Stan suffered a major loss.

Federal Court Rules Stan Lee and POW Stole Assets from Stan Lee media To Start POW

Barron's feature story in June, 2008- "the rage offstage" about Stan Lee's dot com, Stan Lee Media suing Marvel for Stan Lee's creator's rights in Spider Man and X Men also referenced the fedreal law suit in Los Amgeles that charges Stan Lee and his partners in POW- who were insiders in Stan Lee Media, with stealing properties from Stan Lee Media while it was in Chapter 11 and Stan Lee remained Chairman.

In a hearing in Federal Court ten days ago, the Judge ruled that Lee and POW did not own the properties that they announced to the investing public that they had acquired. That is The Accuser and The Drifter among other properties transferred from the bankruptcy Estate of Stan Lee Media to POW without any legal authority or court approval.

Stan was sued by shareholders in a class action against him and other SLM directors in 2002 and the case was settled for $6million.

The lawsuit filed in federal court in NY, Stan Lee Media v Marvel, which Barron's wrote about saying it could have rights to Spider Man etc, will show how Lee has looted millions from Stan Lee Media and fraudulently created POW to continue looting the public shareholders.

POW!

One of the most undervalued stocks out there - their deal with Disney will produce many future franchises starting with the 1st - TimeJumper.

POW! also has characters coming out in Japanese Manga... Its a bright company in a lousy environment.
