Detroit Free Press Going Digital

what about the paper boy?

ARE there any paperboys left anywhere and if there are is this a case of

of more jobs going by the wayside in this new digital age?

what about archives?

I'm looking for digital archives in the Free Press though, and if they would digitize the paper I'd have some luck. Random searches of microfilm aren't helping.

Digital free press

I have been a regular Free Pree subscriber for over 20 years, and Gannett has ruined this paper. It is crap now, but combined with the digital edition, it is less than crap.

Digitial Free Press = Junk

What a joke! Lets see, the publisher expects me to get up in the morning, fire up the old computer, drag my cornflakes and milk into the den, and read the paper while I eat and type on the keyboard. No thanks! This is another example of someone in charge missing the boat. The generation that reads the paper doesn't want it in digital form, and the generation that doesn't read the paper, isn't going to suddenly start tuning in. Buy, buy Free Press. You just lost a customer.
