Johnson claim in dispute

Elizabeth Johnson's longevity claim is still pending

Forgive Me But Another Oldest US Citizen Is 115 in Clinton, MS.

Wow, how amazing for both! MS. Elizabeth Johnson just turned 115 years old on December 25, 2008. My mother and I just visited her in a Clinton, MS. nursing home(Care Center of Clinton 601-924-2996 today. As usual, she loves to laugh, eat peppermint, and for a long time she loved her snuff. We were neighbors before she could no longer keep her apartment up. She's so patient and gave me good advice always. As far as her history, I couldn't tell you because chances are she may have been a slave and some records may be lost. But she really is 115!

This email is not intended to cause confusion. I really thought MS. Johnson was the person CNN stated as THE oldest individual in the US. While I'm reading the article I now know you were talking about someone else. MS. Johnson deserves this acknowledgment as well. She and Maria de Jesus are examples of GOD's grace.

Shellman, Georgia (where Gertrude Baines was born) is nowhere near Atlanta...journalists have no concern for story accuracy
