Life expectancy

When these data were collected, were factors such as smoking, diet, obesity, and access to a quality health care system considered? Maybe its that Viking heritage that puts Iceland and Sweden up there on the men's list, but if I had to bet, my money would be on those other factors for far to many people in the USA as the reason we finish out of the money on this list.

It's an averages thing

In my family, the women tend to live at least into the mid-90's which is at least 10-15 years more than the men.

Averages are the mean between both extremes and do not necessarily mean anything to individuals. They do, however, necessarily determine how insurance companies base their premiums.
