ss payments

I believe the people that do not contribute back to our government in SS & other taxes should not be able to receive any benefits from the USA Government. Why should we as law abiding citizens help them if they will not help themselves.

I am 58 and have worked even before I graduated from high school, always learned how to save, and still live on a budget.

If everyone would learn to live moderately I think we all could survive.

Diabetes

It is a sad occasion that people who have worked all of their life and then get diabetes canoot get disability, and peolpe

who chose not to get an education can get SSI just because they

can't read and write which is their own fault in this day.

I have worked all my life and every day I go to a part time job

and hide how I feel because I need to work. The government

give one no incentive to work. The people who does not work

can get free housing free food and live better than me who have

worked to keep my children off welfair when the were small.

worked to give them a good education and then get sick and the

government have failed me to no end.

I have been sick since 2006 and I'm just getting a hearing for

my disability in April. Where is the justic.

SS PAYMENTS

My attitude is this: this is like cigarette smokers, some choose in spite of obvious death continue to smoke. The ones who say "why not try it" will be the winners in my opinion. There are plenty of seniors who thought that they could exist on s/s alone, let's be real,"it isn't possible". The young people who are astute, intelligent, and insightful. These poople will look around to see what they can do, re-act to, and do! They are the new 'brains" of our world, they have to read the writing on the wall, and do better than we did!!!..... Our parents...taught us how to save (for the most part) didn't spend more than they had and the newe young ones, need to see...need to listen (if they will) and make their children, lives, and their own, comfortable, that is only done by brains and survivalship (if that is a word) ++++++ hard work!

Our progeny thought that when they graduated especially in computer science and computer engineering that $100k or, above was expected. They got used to "flipping the c/card" (because their parents wanted them to have a better life than themselves as well as our governmental bodies! They lost track of reality hopefully we will survive this and learn as our parents did lessons of necessity, rather than; "I want" and then our country will re-gain it's leadership in morality, and business sincerity, the old "shake hands... deal done mentality" that was existing prior to this deep depression, I think we have a long way to go down b-4 we start going up.
