Pensions

Why balme this mess on the newly elected President, Mr. Obama. Do you understand that we are fighting a "WAR AS A RESULT OF LIES"; which is has drained this "Nation" of billions of dollars. Also, free trade agreements, favorite nation status, has the elimination of millions of good paying jobs. Less not forget the greed of the unions; all did their part in destroying the Nation's Economy. If there aren't people workong, then there's very little money going into retirement plans. After Eight years of Bill we had a surplus of money; after eight years of cibBush the MONEY SURPLUS is "NO WHERE TO BE FOUND".

No one is entitled to anything

Pensions were invented as a perk along with health insurance to keep workers at a company back in the old days when workers were respected and appreciated; they are not required of any employer.

Greed is the problem on both sides of the labor issues. The unions are just as greedy as the owners any more. Anything in a union shop is now negotiable (big 3 auto makers). But those in a non-union shop have no recourse but to quit.

This economic nightmare is going to take a long time to repair. Greed will continue to get in the way every time. It is always about the money!

No one can "own" gold

Or anything else. We can only borrow anything for a few years of our time on this earth.
