Retired autoworkers

I really do not know how the CEO's and other executives sleep at night. They should be put on a deserted island and have to fend for themselves with just the clothes on their backs for the rest of their lives. Make them jump out of those jets that are flying them all over hecks half acre. Most of these sorry people have more money than any one should ever need in a life time and they received it by screwing over the little guys that are now too old and sick to get a job. I am sure that they will not have to worry about their health care benefits or pension checks being done away with. What is going to happen to this breed of so called humans when there are no more little guys to mooch off of? They might actually have to work for a living!!!

healthcare benefits

For years GM, was a great giant in America. Thru greed, mismanagement, and not following the trend, it is now reduced to a lump on the ash heap.Parking lots empty, Doors locked and buildings torn down. Who is to blame?

Ceo's flying thru the air in million dollar jets, recieving million dollar bonus, and "other" quirks.Getting millions to leave the company. What a waste!

Leaving the dollar an hour worker to be left high and dry,by

the "Great GM".

My husband spent 31.5 yrs in a hot non-airconditioned plant.

This is the thanks he gets, for being faithful and working when he was terribly ill.Bad hearing from pounding steel, weak back from heavy lifting, and varicosed veins from standing 12-16 hours on a concrete floor..

Thanks General Motors

GM Health Benefits For Hourly Rated Retirees

I just received a letter from GM today stating that they have used their "option" of eliminating my so-called guaranteed health benefits for my wife and I, as of January 1st. We will now have to pay 100% of our doctor's fees, but at the "discounted" insurance rates... something which I feel is the greatest healthcare crime in this country at present... and that we will also have to pay a small monthly fee for being in this "discount club"... my words, not theirs.

To GM I say that my entire family and I will now use 'our option' of never buying another GM vehicle for the remainder of our lives. This also applies to Chrysler and Ford, as they are treating their retirees exactly the same way.

Such a shame... and I was a devout GM person all of my life, not only owning only GM cars and trucks, but also devoting over 32 years as a dedicated employee.

Too bad they had to betray all of us... I had more faith in them than this.

pensionand health benfits

how does the auto worker retiries spouses get help with their benefits if the big three loose out and have to go into bankrfuptsy, my husband has passed away and Iam living on a very fixed income Iam not physically capable to work Ihave many health issues and if we loose our health insurance know insurance is going to pick me up and my only income is my pension. What do I do now.I know that gm big ceo messed up who worked for these benefits and were promised they would be there we the workers who worked on the factory lines and wwent in sick and wworked late hours didn:t take vacations but showed up because we had a decient paying job that wasn'T paid no wwhere close to where they say they make today.
