Hopefully the balance will return

I agree, but the number will hopefully go up and we shall see a healthy balance of self employed vs wgae employees will return soon.

In the meantime, what about those who have lost their job? Thankfully, there are some websites where people who have been affected by job loss in the current recession could share their anxieties and problems with others having faced similar problems in the past. One website that is interesting is http://www.angstcorner.com

self-employed

Interesting post. I also saw a post at onstartup.com that noted top 6 reasons why this is good economy for startups. Top two reasons: low opportunity cost and cheap labor.

Self Employed

I was hoping that this wasn't going to be another voice of doom and gloom and I get iti that self employment numbers are skewed. However, was hoping to forward to a couple of my work- for-yourself colleagues with a thumbs up. Damn. I work for myself and my clients at 222.gbgandassociates.com
