Great Article

Tim:

These are great things to keep in mind. If we all just focus on reality, tell the truth and be authentic, we make our lives a lot easier and never have to worry about saying the next inappropriate or overused business thing. And by the way, you were a great guest on Indie Business Radio earlier this month. Thanks for joining me and keepin' it real!

Trimming the fat is what businesses were doing for the last 27 years as they downsized workforces to take advantage of falling income taxes on the "savings" realized from worker cuts.

We need to add back some of the fat by getting some of the less productive people back on the job in the private sector. That might be done in part with a culture of higher taxes on "net" business profit.

Crazy, you say? Well, do you like the prospect of higher crime rates, alcoholism, drug use and gang-banging from a wave of unemployed people? Do you think that's "cheap" for society to deal with?
