Well, more or less....

Actually, I do remember a BIT of whining and complaining when things went awry.

And I do recall women being automatically paid less than men, not being given similar opportunities, and being subjected to quite a bit of harassment (think "Mad Men"). In addition to a number of other injustices suffered by a number of other minorities.....

But I do get your point. Traditional values & practices are often good ones.

Gosh, this is radical to want people to really compete, have a winner and loser, and to take ownership of their actions.
