The Scariest Part of Work

Back to blog

Wait a second!

Since when is the scale the scariest thing in the doctor's office? The scale isn't scarier than a needle. It might not even be scarier than the doctor depending on who you have.

The problem is ...

... that it isn't just one (or even two) of those things on the list that are the scariest. It's almost ALL of them ganging up on us together!

Great list

Makes for fun reading on a Friday!

Nice list of "insights" here

Unfortunately, most of these things are actual realities some time or other, and many of them are nothing but blood-pressure-raising distractions from real work progress and real life.

The things that SHOULD keep us up at night are 1) Whether the business I'm in (or working for) is ethical and sustainable, 2) Whether I am doing the substance of my job really well or not, and 3) Whether it is possible for me to please my boss, coworkers, family and self all at the same time in this place.
