How to Make Enemies

To True

My boss does at least 20 of these, and almost all of the passive aggressive list.

making enemies in a passive aggressive way

If we add the passive aggressive ways of making enemies:

1) Ignore deadlines;

2) always under deliver, but have good excuses;

3) never feel that the pressure includes you too;

4) discover 3 new ways of sabotaging other's tasks;

5) be always grumpy and silent;

6) can't tolerate the upbeat mood? act resentful and angry;

7) don't share important info with the people who need it;

8) spread a negative view of everything;

9) when in doubt, retreat and disappear from the line of duty;

10) find somebody else to blame for team failure.

lies

It is not lying that makes enemiew (or loses friends) it is being found out. A watertight lie can even be the only way of preserving a friendship.

useful

i thought this is useful so that you AVOID doing things on the list, and are able to AVOID people that do things on the list.. just a thought.

re:not usefull

i think you missed the sarcasm in the list, i guess it /could/ be trying to inform you of thing you should do to make enemies, but i think it is more likely that they were warning people against many of these actions...

Not useful

You don't need a course in how to make enemies. Enemies happen. A much more useful course would be in how to acquire friends. Rule No. 1: Be a friend.

Just for fun

Let's count the ones that wouldn't happen if I were to just keep my mouth mostly shut except for required and reasonable professional communication and daily courtesies:

#1, #2, #3, #4, #7, #8, #9, #10, #11, #12, #13, #16, #20, #24, #25, #26, #27, #28

Gee, that's more than half. Amazing.
