Not all industries take a hit at the same time. Now this may not be the ideal time to get into real estate lending, but other industries are still solid.

Otherwise, I'd recommend focusing on what you CAN control and let go of what you cannot. Try to detach from the drama and focus on what can make a difference today ... and for the future.

Have a Plan B. Oh yes, ALWAYS. Cause sometimes you can't even wait to be "laid off" and actually have to RESIGN.

One of the benefits of learning how to survive and even thrive in a lean economy? Most of these strategies and skills are ones that will make life better in general, anyway.
