Multigenerational Teams are a Good Bet For Success

Hi Jamie,

I love this topic. I'm a boomer and a business coach, and a good deal of my work focuses around getting various generations to work together effectively. You are on the right track hiring coaches because very often the resistances are subconscious or based on preconceptions that dissolve quickly with a little information and dialogue. When it works, the results are awesome!

As a futurist and techno-nut most of my life, I'm thrilled that virtual work, free-agenting, global markets, etc. have finally arrived in my lifetime. I can also appreciate how intimidating this can be for my generation who grew up with the old hierarchies and a different set of rules. They're learning though and the "newly corporates" have been incredibly receptive to what their elders have to offer when given freedom and respect. Keep making these partnerships happen; everyone benefits. Regards, K.
