Sirius XM Radio's Serious Predicament

sinatra channel

I was a johnathan schwartz listener several years back on WNEW AM and WQEW. I want to hear many sinatra songs and he spins other singers then slips in a couple of Sinatra songs an hour.Boring! You expect to hear Sinatra Dean and Sammy and you get Jazz, Ella,Mel Torme, Crosby and Al Martino.

Post- Merger XM is worthless

XMs death started when they pulled fungus 53 for an ac/dc channel 2 months ago to promote there new album and a 24 /7 metallica channel to promote there new album. What total sell outs. Now they have pulled all the channels that played anything out of mainstream. XM=FM & FM=XM only difference is you have to pay for it and the sound quality is less than free radio. No chance of hearing anything new and exciting.

They no longer want the 55 and under crowd, the hell with all you kids.... 24 7 ac/dc, 24 /7 greatful dead, 24 / 7 bruce springsteen, 24 / 7 led zeplin, 24 / 7 elvis ???? I am 34 and these people were all playing before I was born.

A new 24 /7 catholic radio, 24 /7 DR radio (yes, radio for doctors), a Jimmy Buffet channel, a Sinatra channel...

Its just a waste to pay for this now.

channel line up

yeah i woke up this morning and went to work and during my commute i realized that my channel had something different playing on it.... it wasent my breakbeat rock music... it was pop2k... i was mad! so i turned it to sirius 40.... and i realized that they werent cussing in the rap music.... and the dj's were different... so now im going to cancel my subscription to sirius xm radio cause im paying for crap!

Why should the govt. bail out the auto industry when all of the new and used car lots are over flowing with cars and trucks now.

add 10 sec advertisment slots-

people will compliain like they did when PBS started to do it-then they stopped. If sat radio feels their content is good enough-then people will stay

Nothing they can do about car sales

Well, they could run ad spots in all sorts of media about the brands and types of cars with their radios in them. If a consumer doesn't know about an idea, they can hardly act on it.
