No-Load funds

Thank you for this great article. Very succinct and it gets right to the heart of the matter. Vanguard and other fund companies that offer no load funds really should lead the way in most personal retirement and long term savings accounts. You make the point quite clear - after inflation and a volatile market - one's last concern should be filling the pockets of the banks and or the brokerage firms. John Bogle was on to something when he set up Vanguard - we can learn a lot from his method.
