True Words spoken in jest

I think there is a recurring pattern here. It appears those that did not like the President before the elections are entitled to their opinion and those that like him are entitled to theirs. All in all it is fair game.

Ms Wanda made me laugh and cringe but all in all she can only interpret the world the way she sees it – obviously not every one agrees with her views.

But you know what you can take it or leave it.

Personally, I hope someone will make sense of all that has been taking place on a global scale and do a proper audit.

We all need elected officers and the best candidate not party always get elected. I think history is already in the making and a good one for that matter – we cannot pretend that a lot of abuse that has gone on for too long is exactly fair. If it has to come out in jest so be it.

Laughter is a good medicine for the soul.

Keep Laughing !!!!!

Free Speech - Loving it!!! Truth shall set you free

You know what, I think it was a good evening - Wanda was there to do a job and she delivered.

She had a go at every one and I must say I don't think what she did or said was different from what the likes of Rush has said as well.

Rush might not have completed a lot of his opinion the way Wanda has done but he himself has implied negative comments.

I feel strongly that he can take care of himself - No harm done.

Shorty, I don't know your level of education but if you are implying that it is a race card - then the implication is from you - you said it, it is your opinion so own it digest it and chew on it.

One last thing I am glad the President had a good laugh, I can assure you though he didn't enjoy all of it but as always he endured all.

The Good, the Bad and the Ugly

How easy it is to lambast the Prez for Wanda Sykes remarks. Had he sat there glaring at her it would only have called more attention and made things worse. I think she knew her most extreme remarks were making him uncomfortable, and it was after all the Press , and not President Obama who invited Ms Sykes to speak. She is not know for being politically correct or classy in her remarks He chose to be gracious. I think I would likely have done the same thing, though I would have cringed inside at some of her "jokes".

On the other hand, I thought Obama himself was funny and delightful as usual. I feel so fortunate that I am one of those Americans who loves him, instead of always wanting to run him down and blame his for everything. He's young, he's smart and witty and he makes me smile.

I loved it!

Have not laughed so hard since Palin was introduced as the VP candidate. A bite edgy, but funny. Thanks Wanda!

Obama laughing at wishing someone kidney failure?

Maybe Obama should get sickle cell anemia. I am a comedian too.

See commentary video of Obama laughing at wishing kidney failure, usually fatal, on an American citizen ... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-zVo_MZpP_A

How sad ...

ANNE of CT

SOOOOOO THE FACT THAT SHE IS A COMEDIAN EXCUSES HER FROM SUCH FOUL MOUTH STUPIDITY. "NO" JOKE THAT INVOLVES THE DEATH OF OVER 3000 AMERICANS IS FUNNY. I GUESS A JOKE INVOLVING THE DEAD OF MILLIONS OF JEW WOULD BE CONSIDERED FUNNY TO YOU. I GUESS THE RACIAL COMMENTS MADE BY MICHAEL RICHARDS WOULD BE CONSIDERED FUNNY TO YOU. GET A GRIP ANNE!!!!!!

SYKES COMMENTS!!!!!

Wanda Sykes comments about Rush Limbaugh were totally inappropriate and offensive. What was even more offensive was the President of the United States sitting there applauding and laughing at such disgust. I compare her to that of Michael Richard racial comments. It's quite obvious that Sykes has issues with the white folk. Obama preaches union, but then again supports this trash. When making comments like this does it ever enter her mind the Americans and their families that lost their lives on 9/11/2001. My gut tells me that there will be fewer conservatives attending her concerts. Barack,,,someday all of this is going to come back to bite you,,,mark my word. I really had faith that Obama would move this country towards togetherness and understanding of all Americans. I beginning to realize, I was wrong,,,unfortunately very very wrong!!!!

Luxe Life

Luxury is no longer the sole province of the elite. Upscale goods and services now target a much broader market. Kimberly Castro, deputy business editor of U.S.News & World Report, takes a look at the luxe life, from fine wines and cars to high-end real estate and wealth management. Though no elitist, Kim does admit a fondness for a bold bottle of Scout's Honor from Venge Vineyards and satiating her wanderlust in Europe.
