Domino Magazine Is Dead

We still shop!

Just because the economy is down doesn't mean we don't shop....everyone is not broke! People still buy this mag to dream, as well. Big mistake to cancel this fabulous mag!

Domino I miss you!!!

I've been a fan of home decor magazines for a long time, but this one I miss like an old friend. It made me so happy, when it sat in my mailbox. Each time a new one came out I had a little party by myself with a cup of tea or a glass of wine - reading this magazine. I can only say I agree with all of the above comments... ( or below, I don't know where mine will appear once its posted;) Anyway. I hope it will come back. I kept all the issues and I subscribed to it before it even came out. It was so special and inspiring and I still pull them out every now and then. Someone needs to make up their mind to make this one work. There has to be a way, right?

glamour in its place? seriously

the first horror was shutting the mag down.

the second for those of us who subscribed, having glamour magazine has the replacement magazine to fulfill your subscription. talk about insulting.

and btw, why couldn't they make the mag quarterly like O At Home until the economy leveled...which for the life of me, i cannot believe glamour is still alive and domino dead....huh? seriously? insert eye rolling here....

WE OBVIOUSLY CAN'T ALWAYS GET WHAT WE WANT!

This is so disappointing! Truly the best one out there that I found inspiration and creativity from! BRING IT BACK!

Bring it back!!

Best home decor magazine out there! Now our choices run from snobby to matronly. Please SOMEONE bring this magazine back to life so the rest of us normal people who want a fresh, appealling and workable living space can get on to better things other than grieving the loss of this magazine.

Just Found Out

I, like the reader commented above, learned about the demise of the magazine online after wondering why I was no longer receiving my magazine. This is truly sad. This magazine had so many good ideas that made possible for the readers to be creative in a bad ecomony. This magazine had ideas that inspired many makeovers in my house at a fraction of the cost a decorator would have charged. Not only that, but the ideas were original and not something you would see everyday. This is a true loss. I can only hope in the near future, someone with creativity will see the need for a magazine like this to help spark creativity of the readers with projects they can do. How is the economy going to get better and grow if all inspiration is taken away from consumers!

Death of Domino

Why is it when a magazine goes under the subscribers are never informed and have to learn about it online? I think I got a year's subscription with a free year thrown in, so the money for the subscrip is not an issue, but what about the people for which it is? No refund, no notification, no nothing. Poor customer service if you ask me.

still sad

I was a dedicated Domino magazine fan, and have missed it so much and wish so badly that it was still around. There are no other magazines like it and nothing to take it's place. I now have a subscription to Architectural Digest... ick. I hope someone decides to start another magazine that is similar in the very near future!!

Former Subscriber

This was the one and only magazine I had ever subscribed to. It was heartbreaking to see it end. I still use all past magazines often.

horrible news

Got on line to subscribe to Domino and learned it has died. Why is it that the good always die young!

Luxe Life

Luxury is no longer the sole province of the elite. Upscale goods and services now target a much broader market. Kimberly Castro, deputy business editor of U.S.News & World Report, takes a look at the luxe life, from fine wines and cars to high-end real estate and wealth management. Though no elitist, Kim does admit a fondness for a bold bottle of Scout's Honor from Venge Vineyards and satiating her wanderlust in Europe.
