5 Luxury Websites Worth Looking Into

Street Peeper: So, street style may not be synonymous with luxury, but visiting this site might make you think otherwise. Street Peeper is an international street fashion photo site, featuring urban style from cities including Amsterdam, Berlin, Sydney, Jakarta, San Francisco, and New York. Think: Givenchy bag, YSL leather jacket, Chloe dress, and Nike sneakers.

20Ltd: If you're looking for super rare ("once sold out, they'll never be created again"), eclectic, limited edition design pieces, as well as fine art photography, this sleek, online shop is a perfect place to peruse. Check out the stunning photography of Matt Siber and Robert Van Der Hilst, my personal favorites.

Automobiles De Luxe: This website—mainly for aficionados of fine motorcars from the Aston Martin and Alfa Romeo to Audi, BMW, and Benz—offers comprehensive reviews complete with big, bold photos, and retrospectives on road tests and road trips for "every crank, piston, and gearhead."

The Wine Collector: I love wine, but I'm no wine sommelier. I also love collecting wine but will often receive recommendations from others. This blog is a great resource for getting practical wine-collecting advice straight from Steve Bachmann, founder of wine store Vinfolio.

Born Rich: This site's "sole aim is to help you spend all your hard-earned money on the snootiest thingmazig around" and "empty your wallet and make you bankrupt." That might make you cringe, especially during a recession, but it's still a fun, aspirational site to visit. Born Rich recently profiled an Amphibian Akoya airplane, a crystallized Xbox360 console, and a limited edition Radoux X-Blend barrel with—yup!—a Swarovski-studded stopper.

Luxe Life

Luxury is no longer the sole province of the elite. Upscale goods and services now target a much broader market. Kimberly Castro, deputy business editor of U.S.News & World Report, takes a look at the luxe life, from fine wines and cars to high-end real estate and wealth management. Though no elitist, Kim does admit a fondness for a bold bottle of Scout's Honor from Venge Vineyards and satiating her wanderlust in Europe.
