Puma?

Calling it Puma implies that it's fast, sporty and beautiful. Have they ever seen an actual puma?? They are magnificent animals. If I were a puma, I'd be pissed, hell, I'd probably sue for emotional damages.

GM, Chrysler and Ford need to take some pointers from Tesla. Their new sedan is sexy! Oh, and it gets 300 miles to a charge. This little piece of s*%t only gets about 30. Oh, and it's really, really ugly. Not to mention the fact that very few people in the city actually have anywhere to plug one of these into(unless the battery is removable of course).

It is very impracticle and another example of how far removed from reality the CEO's of the big 3 are. No wonder their companies are going under.

If we had the foresight to allocate enough money into research and development instead of spending it on a host of other pointless things which shall remain nameless, I believe we could have developed a commercially marketable solar powered car by now.

Is it street-legal? Will it require registration/tags? Where you gonna park it? In addition to traffic, parking is the main problem in the Big City. The Segway didn't sell so they slap a plastic cover on it & try to sell it that way...

Why not try to make a small, cheap, sporty car that the other 99.9% of the population can buy? Remember the Fiero? Re-make it.

Will Obama have an armored PUMA?

Will Nancy Pelosi forego her 757 luxury plane for one?

If I hit a stray cat while driving a PUMA will I die?

Will it come with a heater for northern climes, or an adult snow suit?

Will it tow a garden cart to haul groceries home?

Will large dogs catch it and shake it to pieces?

Will the road department put a PUMA tax on my power bill?

Will we need a two-wheel, motorcycle endorsement on our driver licenses to operate it?

Will a bike helmet and shin guards be required?

Will the dash contain bubble wrap in lieu of airbags?

Will I be able to buy snow chains for winter time use?

Doesn't anyone commenting on this article live in NYC? I see one guy drives a F-150, he obviously has no idea what it’s like to fight for cabs, jump on smelly subways or walk in the blistering summer heat. If they can get people to buy in, it’s perfect for places like New York. Also, think global, in places like Italy where the Vespa is massively popular, this will do very well. I'm probably as conservative as they come and think the world is actually cooling, but I k now a good idea when I see it.

You guys are so incredibly vain its crazy... instead of caring about what we are doing with wasting oil and coming up with a viable alternative you are too concerned with your self image and "picking up chicks".

It is this gluttonous attitude that has gotten us to this point in the first place.
