Garden Sharing

For anyone out in the Seattle area, you can check out http://www.urbangardenshare.org/ - a great program where folks with extra garden space and no time/energy to garden can lend out their space to avid gardeners who need some extra room to grow things. Neat!

Making use of space which would otherwise be left unoccupied is a form of sharing, conservation, and is the ultimate form of green accommodation. Travel soundly (and inexpensively) without contributing to the rampant consumerist hotel development throughout the world. InventedCity home exchange

home exchange indeed

Delighted to see home exchange included in a green article! Home exchange fundamentally is about sharing your home -- making use of space which would otherwise be left unoccupied when you travel. This indeed is a form of sharing, conservation -- and is the ultimate form of green accommodation. Travel soundly (and free) without contributing to the consumerist hotel development throughout the world!
