No Delay for Digital TV: Here's How to Prepare

Back to blog

Ignoring the big picture.

How much energy will it take to run the millions of converter boxes? It will not be many years until all of those converter boxes will be added to the landfills when those old TV's crash and people have to buy a "newer, energy-sucking TV set". It always interest me that no one ever looks at the big picture.

A good point about not (wasting your time) watching TV. You won't see the stupid ads designed to get money out of your wallet and into the businesses of corporate Amerika. You know the ones, the ones that ask for gov't bailouts and then give CEO's bonuses. Save your money, turn off the boob tube and spend time doing ANYTHING else that is more constructive.

Nah. Keep your old TV. Unplug it from the wall completely for maximum energy savings.

Never watch the dang thing again.

Thumb your nose at the advertisers. Get out and walk, walk, walk. Be happier than ever before.

Yes you can.
