The Recycling Bin: Obama's Green Orders

Yesterday, Obama took action on a request by 14 states to waive national emissions rules in favor of stricter standards. The move was considered the president's first step towards fulfilling green campaign promises. Here's what people across the Internet are saying about the decision:

States Rights

Republicans are such hypocrites sometimes. They say they are pro-states rights and pro-local control when it suits their purpose, but when a state wants to make its air cleaner all of a sudden the big bad government has to lay down the law.

General Motors, stop offering to engage in discussion and go build me an electric powered car so I don't have to keep paying OPEC every month to get myself to work.
