Wall-E Cares

Wall-E WAS about the environment - specifically the disposable environment where consumers consume and dispose of goods on a huge scale. The "Buy & Large" UltraStore featured in the film was a spoof of the Wal-Mart SuperCentre big box stores - a Made in America icon to mindless consumerism. The film was also about what was really important between sentient beings - caring and being cared for by others.

Wall-E was Chaplin's Little Tramp brought anew. A wonderful story, with numerous tip of the hats to so many sci-fi sources.

WALL-E; THE BEST MOVIE EVAH!!!!

I just finighed reading your article on WALL-E's nominations. And, sadly, I CAN'T BELIEVE THAT THE MOVIE DIDN'T GET NOMINATED FOR BEST PICTURE!!!! To me, these nominators are a bit blind... Anyways, WALL-E dominates over both Bolt and Kung Fu Panda, even though I like that movie a lot *skidoosh*, and WALL-E can almost definately beat Slumdog Millionair in the Music catagory. Thomas Newman's orchestra played beutifully. Oh well, can't wait for the Oscar's!!! GO WALL-E W00T!!! ^-^

Wall E

Well earned awards. Excellent. I think it is the best picture of the year and should be considered.

After all, we have our new messiah and his Obamawand.....

So upset!!!

I´m so upset that WALL-E did not get the nomination for best picture, when it's completely deserved. And more ridiculous is that 'Jai Ho', from Slumdog Millionaire got a nomination for best song when it uses Autotune all over!!!!, that's not rewarding talent!!!
