Half a man!

"Can anything good come out of Galilee?"

As one of those people who really think in pictures and then formulate words to describe the pictures they see, I have a real problem dealing with people like Good Riddance. That's because the image I hold in my mind of people who think like the "Good Riddance" guy above is never complete. What I see in my mind is half a man, it's always been like that from childhood. Some people make lop-sided arguments occasionally, that's human error, but then there are the bigots who find it so painful to be even-handed or balanced.

To me these are the real perverts, because their very intellect has been made dysfunctional by their all or nothing thinking. To them nothing good can be happen to or come from people they call enemies, and nothing bad can be ascribed to people they call friends. Everything is seen throught the prism of their likes and dislikes.

If they are prejudiced against Blacks, then there's no compassion for black innocent children. If they are prejudiced against Whites, then there's no sadness when a young white teenager dies after crashing his dad's BMW into a tree. If they are rich there's no compassion for the poor. If they are poor a rich young woman is a "rich bitch." If they are Conservative, the thought of Liberals losing money that goes to alleviate the suffering of innocents is occasion for rejoicing.

In all my years I've seen a few bigots switch allegiances, but I have never seen a bigot lose his bigotry. I used to ask myself why on earth would someone choose to be half a person, seeing only half of the big picture. The answer, of course, is that nobody chooses to be that way, that's how they've been shaped. They can however choose to change. Some do, some don't! and that's the way the cookie crumbles.

KICKBACKS ARE PART OF THE SYSTEM THAT MAKES MADOFF POSSIBLE

As Madoff finds his long, long way home, he will open doors into the Wall Street underbelly that has seen little light of day.

MADOFF IS NOT SO UNIQUE - OVERSIGHT IS IMPOSSIBLE

The corruption trench is deep and wide, much requires cleaning-up on Wall Street…

Silver lining

I guess the old saying about a silver lining in every cloud holds true, at least in this case.

Profound ignorance...

To Onward -

You can weep all you want, but you're being laughed at, so I don't know what good it is doing anybody.

Your comment reflects a profound ignorance of leftist politics and its machinations. A willful, profound ignorance.

The world is not ending. The environment is not in danger. The solution to the non-existent, unsupported "problem" of man-made global warming...er, climate change (considering the Earth hasn't warmed in 10 years) is not greater governmental control over the means of production and the expansion of leftwing activist groups. The solution to these manufactured problems is not more socialism, taxes, regulations and liberal Democrats in power. This same garbage gets regurgitated from the greenies every decade and is merely a fad. In the 1970's it was global cooling and we were all going to die. In the 1980s the oceans were going to rise and kill us all. In the 1990s it was global warming. In the 2000s it's "climate change," as if climate has not changed throughout the Earth's history.

All bull.

The fact that these "environmental" liberal Democrat activists are losing money on a ponzy scheme set up by one of their own is just deserts for a bunch of people pretending their only concern is "the Earth" and "science." Their concern is for political power and money siphoned to them from taxpayers or from sugar daddies like Madoff and George Soros. And nothing is funnier than a group of socialists who decry capitalism and money caterwauling when they lose money. Hey - if money's so unimportant, then try living without it - that's true leftist dogma in action. Or better yet, try producing something and making your own money.

Cheers.

Curious spite

To "Good Riddance..." - Your comment is curiously spiteful and reflects a profound ignorance. Good people of the world weep for you, my friend.

Good riddance...

Good riddance to bad rubbish.

Faux-environmentalism, which is simply a front for Democrat political activists, has suffered a crushing blow. For people who claim money is bad, they sure had a lot of it funneled into their organizations.

Mother Gaia weeps.
