Sarah Palin: Cause of Global Warming 'Kinda Doesn't Matter'

well my first thought is that gore has asked all americans to change there lifestyle and use less lighting and change to the low flourescent bulbs- hummm! yet when you drive by his mansion every light on the house is on- so he says for us to do this but its alright for him to maintain his lifestyle- how selfcentered. now about global warming - I have read many articles about the human causing this warming trend and if we dont stop what we are doing our environment wil change. ok- now i would like a response about this scenario- after the melting has started in greenland there is now land that has not been seen ever before because of the icepack. since it has started to melt scientists have found fossils and evidence of trees that flourished there before the ice came- so now isnt it possible that we are witnessing a change in nature just as the ice age came and went.why are there trees under the ice pack or are we to also be blamed for the ice age? I dont even think we were here when that happened. This could just be a natural thing that happens within natures cleansing of the planet. Restaring itself the way it always has done. We think of ourselves of such importance. The way i see it is that we are fleas on a dogs back and when the earth gets tired of us it will just flick us off its back and find a differant species to be at the top of the food chain

I've heard comments from respected? journalists that she did pretty well. If a monkey can learn sign language certainly a ditsy human being can learn enough facts to stand up there, avoid questions directed at her and get credit for being knowledgeable.

Palin was 100% right when she stated that the cause of climatic change is Not Solely Manmade ,but that natural factors which have been at work since the earth began i.e. "cyclical" have been proven by studies from the international scientific community (predating the politization of the concept referred to as Global Warming ".Palin acknowledged this Inconveneient Truth -to her credit & Joe Bidens' shock .LOL.It was Biden that appeared chained to the one dimensional belief laying blame on the United States for every thing wrong in the world. A mantra Obama & the World View Orchestra chant in unison.C'mon Joe we know it should be have been you running for President.Palin passed on a opportunity to parry Bidens zinger (she gave him a huge throwdown line re: Chaneys' precedent setting role)- but Bidens' Achilles is, that Like Chaney , Biden Will Have to be in the Loop on most every Major Policy Decision to keep Obama credible.I don't know if I'd call it a draw, but you can be sure that Ahmadinejhad just made a "poopy".

What kind of matters is that Palin obviously has her own religion and hasn't converted to Al Gore's.Great story on the wires today about an eco-moron in LA who stores garbage in his house to reduce his "carbon footprint". A perfect representative of his co=religionists

The Cause of Global Warming is NOT relevant

Global warming IS NOT a man made thing. Global warming and global cooling are artifacts of the Earth's life cycle. We have been through a number of ice ages and ice age melts (aka "global warming").

So the cause is only relevant if we are going to attack the root cause of the problem: the Earth. Chances are we won't win that battle with the Earth.

Now that isn't to say that Humans aren't accelerating global warming. So technically we shouldn't be concerned with the *cause* of global warming, since that dates back billions of years, we should be more concerned with the cause of the acceleration of global warming.

So in my opinion, Palin's comments aren't too off. She does admit that there are problems and we need to do something about it, which is much better than the complete denial by some conservatives.
