4 Ways to Earn Cash for Recycling

recycling

I wish that RecycleBank would start a program in my community (Wichita) because I think a lot of people would participate. This city is so greedy they think they are supposed to be paid for the opportunity to recycle while they reap 100% of the benefits. They are always dipping into the consumers pocket and never give us any benefits for doing something good that probably would save them money in the long term. That is exactly why they do not have a successful recycling program.

teach recyling in school

Teach our children from young so that recyling becomes a lifelong habit. One day a year, encourage the students to bring an item for recycling and have speakers talk to students about how their actions would help keep toxic items out of the landfill. Make this an interesting and fun event.

recycle for our hoir Robes

Is there a time that you pay cash to church organizations for fund raisers such as collecting plastics to help purchase needed Choir Robes?

Recycling

I recenttly moved to Arlington, Texas from California where we received cash for recycling our aluminum cans, glass bottles and plastic bottles, etc. Is there any place here that pays cash for your recycling these items?

Plastics Recycling

I work for a tool company, in a warehouse. We also have another whse where timing lights, etc. are repaired or rebuilt. We have so far found no recycling for the hard plastic cases & they end up in the landfill-not good. Any ideas on any companies that recycle this type of plastic? I'm also interested in any companies that recycle shrink wrap.

Our company has been quite supportive of our "green" efforts. We recycle grocery bags, cardboard, paper and some of our recycling (aluminum, plasic bottles, etc) are sold & the proceeds go into our "Community Involvement Fund" which we do to help the low income programs that need more & more help these days. But these other 2 plastics we have had no luck with. I don't care if we make money from them, I just hate them going to the landfill but if I can find no alternative to present, I can do nothing to prevent it. Can anyone help me?
