Printing Press Redux

I liken the current situation not like the printing press, more like the industrial revolution. It allowed more businesses to make large quantities of materials and goods more cheaply and efficiently. But now everyone already has goods produced more cheaply, so now the playing field for manufacturing has essentially stabalized, and now the only leg up you can have on your competition is sales and execution of product/service. This is the same with the internet today, service and execution take time to perfect. @Garyvee, talks about being patient and realizing that it takes time to build up your brand, but ultimately, it pays to be patient.

Profit Perspective

Excellent interview. One of the reasons company's are afraid to adjust overhead is the necessary adjustment in profit. Long term sustainable profits are more valuable than quarter by quarter booms.
