Health care costs.

Immu-25 can treat HIV. But they are herbs. Simply cost too much to get the FDA to approve it for treating HIV. On the other hand it is used to treat horses for virus problems. Horses make out, just people don't. Isn't that one of the cost problems of health care. Still they shot horses, don't there.

Health Insurance, not Roads

I am amused always. You see, I write my Reps all the time. Not that Corker or Alexander actually care. Republicans say NO. I actually have health insurance. But the problems with the insurance companies ( as in denying the cost of an annual physical) over the years, places me solidly against them and there profits. I want a public plan and I am willing to pay for it. With what I pay for insurance now, I am sure I could cover at least 1 extra person. In my family there are several without insurance. To me, health coverage may not be a "right", but then, neither are schools or roads. FYI tea party folks: There is not a word about either in our Constitution. Why not out cry over taxes for schools? (TN is a lousy 47th in the nation for education. Only the wealthy should be educated anyway.) I would give up roads for health insurance any day, to cover a sick friend.

I can pay, I do not mind paying. My taxes seem low to me for the benefits I receive. Medicare looks pretty good to me. Yes, the utimate government health care plan, Medicare. It may not be the luxury plan, but without it, most seniors would die tomorrow. At least they have coverage.

Is it too early for the US Senate to vote on health care bill?

There has been much discussion about taxing "Cadillac" health plans, charging fees for those who choose not to purchase health insurance and financially penalizing companies that do not provide insurance for their employees.

These are all revenues being raised for the Federal Government.

Section 7 of the US Constitution states "All Bills for raising Revenue shall originate in the House of Representatives, but the Senate may propose or concur with Amendments as on other Bills"

Clearly the Senate should not be writing a bill until one has been approved by the House of Repersenatives
