Why spend anyway.

People have FINALLY realized that spending money and buying things is NOT GOOD. IT's BAD to spend money.

You'll be far better off and sleep better at night with MONEY IN YOUR BANK ACCOUNT rather than blowing all your money Memory Foam pillow and 600 thread count luxury sheets.

Luxury and High End Lifestyles are OUT. We are now back in the 1950's where being CHEAP is in style big time.

I have ALWAYS saved money, I don't "invest" my money in stocks, I just put it in my savings account that has NO real return rate to speak off. BUT I have $20,000 sitting in my account to cover ANYTHING that I need. DO I sleep well at night?? You bet. Do I spend time searching online for NEW things to shop for and purchase?? NO I do not. I'm happy with what I have. If I decide I need something, I ask myself Do I REALLY need to buy this?? Often the answer is NO.

Live Cheap and be Happy. I have ZERO stress and I LOVE it.

Well said!

This is so well written. I too was wondering why shopping has become such a bore, why the thrill is gone. Funny, how the more you upgrade, the less fun it all seems. Now the good part is when I check that Visa balance at the end of the month, and it's smaller each time.

Let's all get in touch with our inner Grandma!
