5 Reasons To Buy an American Car

Back to blog

RE: Jethro

All of the products mentioned are well below the price of a foreign vehicle. Sure you buy a $900 sony laptop but that does not even touch a $25,000 Honda Accord

American Cars get bad rap, but...

American cars get a bad rap, but I think that the problem lies elsewhere. (Not because the car is American.) My family owns two Chrysler products: A 1994 Dodge Ram 350 14-passernger van with 224,000 miles that is incredibly reliable and a Plymouth Voyager with 166,000 miles that is also great. We also own a Buick Le Sabre with 102,000 miles.

Hate for Japan?

Louis M, you talk about pouring money into the Japanese economy, or any other economy, think about that next time you go to buy a Toshiba computer (Japan), or grab an appliance by Sony (Japan), or go to the grocery store to buy some fruit (usually Mexico, Argentina, or other countries in southern North America or South America), or even when you go sit in your Ikea chairs (Sweden). Your kids will play with toys whose parts, plastics, and assembly come from Japan, China, or Taiwan. Check the tags on your clothing. Do any of them mention the fact that they were probably made in either Europe or Asia? Where do you think your money is going when you buy all these products? Cuz it certainly isn't going into our economy. Congratulations, you're probably a fully grown adult, and you just got schooled in foreign consumption by a 17-year-old. HAHA!!!

cash for clunkers

the cash for clunkers program should be used for american cars only. its our money and it should stay here, why would someone take their tax money and use it to support japans economy? it makes no sense! there should be a clause in the program, american cars only, our economy needs it!

America...what a f##(*&^ joke!

Reading some of these comments make me sick,

Americans actually HOPING GM/Chrylser and Ford go bankrupt? A total disgrace if you ask me! These are American companies which employ millions of americans right here in the USA...why would so many so called "americans" want these car companies to go under?

Maybe a little history is in order here...during WW2, GM, chrysler and ford helped win the war by outproducing our enemies....yes folks the same enemies that are dumping their vehicles on us now...the same japanese that brought us pearl harbor, the bataan death march and the torture and murder of thousands of US POWS. Lets not forget our other pals, the germans...who brought us the holocaust, and caused the deaths of 50 million human beings, yea keep buying japanese and german vehicles.

These are the same 'americans" that were crushed when that pill popping pervert Michael Jackson overdosed and dropped dead but could care less about the thousands of American servicemen and women injured and killed in the line of duty protecting THEIR freedom....

The US is now full of self absorbed, selfish, self centered, greedy whiners who dont give a crap about anything or anyone but themselves. (not all) So go ahead and buy your foreign car you selfish selfcentered dirtbags...

When you cant find a job cause we dont make anything here anymore ...or the muslim jihadists are attatcking us and all you pantywaists ran off to canada youll look over the border and wonder what went wrong.

Heres the facts..American cars are as good as foreign cars (google it) You can spew any bs you like but that doesnt make it correct...do the right thing...BUY AMERICAN!

I wonder why anyone would buy a foreign car, especially considering the state of the US auto makers now...theyre just as good as the japanese models and much more reliable than european cars (google it if you dont believe me) if youre considering buying a new car pls consider buying something american...I just did and have a warm fuzzy feeling everytime I drive my new G6 :)

God bless america!
