History repeat itself?

American Working Joe,

When you stated, "This is not anti symitizm but a warning that history is repeating itself," what history are you referring to exactly?

American Economy

Some Americans always wondered why we have gone to such extremes to defend the country of Israel from boundering Arab nations . One of the comments written above explains the reason. Our country's economy has been owned by Jewishs for a long time. We have only done what we had to do to protect our own economy which is protect the ones who owns it. No our economy is extremely exposed to the rest of the world. Who is going to be our owner in the future? Only time will tell.

What about India?

We have already seen Tata Motors acquire Land Rover & Jaguar from Ford, and unless I'm wrong Mahindra and Mahindra remains the likely buyer of Hummer from GM (assuming the deal hasn't already been completed).

At this point, either of these firms could end up buying the entire parent companies of the divisions they already bought/are buying, could they not?

China can only survive by testing American Laws and ethics.

Chinese companies now in existence are testing the American Patent laws and American ethics. Lawyers are filing Patent infringement lawsuits against Chinese companies. China has always copied American technology and even if they buy a failing automobile company they will need to infringe on GM or Toyota's new technology to succeed. China just cannot develope their on products or their on think tanks. I'm not sure why that is but like Japan they need the American to show them the way. Toyota would not be number one if an American Business man had not structured and developed the Japanese business model. America has to evolve now from a war machine to a manufacturing machine or disappear and disolve to becoming an ASICAN. A new America owned and operated by Asia. We did it and continue to do it to ourselves.

The jobs that Mexicans do that other Americans don't want to do. What a myth! And you wonder why Americans can't find work, it is because all the jobs are now being done by other countries workers. If you are American, just try to get a managerial job in an Asian company. They will not let you. Try and out bid a Mexican on a job. You can't do a job cheaper than a Mexican with a roll of duck tape. As an American out of work for a year with no prospects in sight, I wonder what I was saving for my children and future generations when the rich was only waiting for the moment to sell America off to the highest bidder. Not only are the rich getting richer but they now ask that I pay them for their mistakes. Ask yourself who are the rich Bankers and financial institutions owned by and why the Germans tried to do something about it, when their nation was being strangled by the same. America's riches will disappear, be absorbed and disolve into Isreal, leaving a shell for the Asians to inhabit. This is not anti symitizm but a warning that history is repeating itself. The world will see this happen again in the future as the mid east is now becoming the focus for the Jewish establishment of wealth. I know that i will be misunderstood. I am only saying that this time it needs to be handled in a different way.

Shoot us now!

The writing is on the walls people.. USA will be hurting for a long time while other countries buy us up and don't expect them to use lube either.

Bad Investments

Not even China would buy an American auto manufacturing business. They are white Elephants. Asian products have the unbeatable edge. But America is great at producing images of success and that can never be overcome.

melvin polatnick of NY @ Feb 23, 2009 11:58:37 AM

Well

Maybe citizens would stop griping about how "bad" it would be for our government to bail out automakers if they realized the next step may be China buying our technology and capacity for nearly nothing because we can't "manage" ourselves.
