How To Tell When The Economy’s Getting Better

economy

I am 42 years old and from the time I was old enough to vote every president has had to recover the economy. Remember Clinton then he made all those construction jobs. What happens when the jobs are over? We just spent all this money trying to recover the economy and look what these banks are doing they just made a plan to outsource 1 billion jobs to India over the next to years to cut costs of having to repay the government back the money. I got this article of msn.com

MUMBAI (Reuters) - Leading Indian outsourcers such as Tata Consultancy , Infosys and Wipro stand to gain contracts worth about $1 billion in the next one or two years as U.S. banks emerge from the troubled asset relief program, the Economic Times reported on Monday. The newspaper said JPMorgan , Goldman Sachs and Morgan Stanley that received approval to buy back government stake worth $68 billion earlier this year are among the firms seeking operational efficiencies by outsourcing non-core IT and back-office projects to India.American Express , Bank of New York Mellon and Capital One, which have started repaying government debt, were also considering outsourcing, it said.

Also because of all this spending my college does not even have enough money to accept new students next year.

Bush

Why do think the enocomy is down beacuse people stoped making and selling the 95 computers and old video games and when they was still being made and sold you see how many people was in the stores compare to how many people you see are in the stores today. So if i was those people I whould not had stoped making and selling the stuff above if that was keeping the enocomy on it's feet thru all these years. And the only way to restart the enocomy is to start making and selling the stuff above again and don't stop making and selling it again.Old videos are nintendo 64,super nintendo, sega dreamcast, sega genises 1,2 and 3 ,taria ans playstation 1.Now do you blame Bush the dad or bush the son? This is inportant to America and it's stupid to stop making and selling the stuff above and to start making new stuff like windows xp and vista and video games like playstation 3, xbox 360,nintendo wii,psp and to seee it slows down the enocomy like it did for 7 years. So hopeful Obama can fix this

My mom lost her job, now what?

My mom is a single woman raising 3 teenagers. I am one of them, writing about her. She was manager and 1/2 owner at a local grocery store in georgia since 1999. We were well off and happy. Then, october of 2008... she got laid off. She had always kept her financial business private and we didn't have a problem with that. Once we started noticing everything going missing, we knew something was up. She sold her jeep to pay rent on our house, sold all of her precious gold jewelry she had gotten from her granny to buy food, and pawned everything she owned but her bed and shoes. She had to apply for food stamps and unemployment. And now, she is in the process of filing bankruptcy. All of us are unemployed, and have no where or way to get a job. My mom is very unhappy, and all of us are too. Please President Obama, help america get back to the way it was.

Back to work.

We are big walkers. (Retired) and hit malls and local tourist areas daily and see an up in people actually carrying bags and buying at the malls as well as more tourist this fall coming into our area. On top of that two of our Grandkids are back to work. I really see the economy getting better. We know it will not happen over night but it is slowly improving.

I was laid off on March 31st. It's almost 30 weeks. I have not been able to find a job. I have sent 2000 resumes out. I had a total of 12 interviews. Luckily I am receiving unemployment and making an extra hundred a week at a local store part time. It is degrading to be out of a job this long. To have longevity with every company I worked for and now at 53 years old am losing everything I worked for. I don't have a formal degree but have experience in accounting, customer service, and am realizing they want younger people who will accept much less money. I was even willing to take a ten thousand dollar pay cut and one company told me they hired the owners daughters friend. So many people are out of work and I hear more and more people getting laid off every day in ILLINOIS. There is no help in this state for any one to get back to work and make a decent living.

educate yourself on your local reps first..it all starts their

obamo only made things worse if he did not meddle economy would have already turned around and lets not forget who has been controlling congress for the past 3-4 years (dems) and they were the ones who forced the banks to give loans when they noticed that the housing bublble was about to burst back in the early 2000's....any brain knows you do not give loans without a colatoral or a decent job...please those of us who did the right thing now suffer..I know of people who could not pay their rent on time get a mortage....go figure and yet all this is Bush's fault....maybe if people look at who their local reps are and vote in the better person and then we will not have the corruption in congress that we do have before Bush after Bush and even now but now they have a President who will do their bidding more than ever before and n oone to fight for us

when a barney and a pelosi can ruin an entire country with the aid of a left wing media its hard to recover and then our new admin are nothing but crooks and noone will call them on it...what ever happened to the famous american fair minded media (I am not a born US citizen and I used to believe because of the US media this country always had to put its people first but those days ended about 10 years I think) Just my opinion
