Apple: America's Most Fragile Company

Contempt

Contemptuousness and sarcasm - it's sad that this is such persuasive attitude for so many small people.

Not that your click-counters will care, but I didn't read any of your ads.

Huh?

Little wonder USNWR is declining, if this is what their "Chief Business Correspondent" conjures up. His editor also needs attention.

Shame on you!

Greater men accomplish. Lesser men question what they have done. Such is the case of Rick Newman's third-rate article above. Warren Buffett is elderly, and has not disclosed his future successor. Yet, no one questions him or the validity of Berkshire Hathaway stock. Some day, Rick Newman will gladly dance on the grave of Steve Jobs. Then, he will move on to hate something else. It is what lesser people do.

NOTE TO USN&WR EDITORS: Do you ever check this guy's work before you allow him to push the SEND button? Perhaps you should. It's called editing. Ever heard of it?

Wow do I sense angst in this story

Holy cow. The last line of this story, the snippy "immortal" line left me cold. Like somehow the author will take some glee in the passing of Mr. Jobs. What a creepy little man this writer is.

Market Not Apple

Like jell-o, the market is wobbly. It's not Apple's fragility, but the market generally. I have no stock and no axe to grind, but it would be a mistake to rush and sell or buy any stock right now. We're still waiting to see what happens, and as painful as that might be, we need to just wait and see.
