I agree with Disappearing Dollar

The Federal Reserve is absolutely communistic! We supposedly live in a free market, capitalist society in the USA. But this is not true if the Fed can arbitrarily set the interest rate at any number they so choose. By setting interest rates at 0% they are stealing from the people who saved and giving the money to the irresponsible people who go into debt way over their heads, and then walk, and give the keys to the bank when things get tough. Interest rates must be allowed to float for the system to reach equilibrium. Interest rates must fit into a "supply and demand" curve. Until they do our government will continue to print this "virtual money" and destroy our economy.
