Thank the UAW

The simple fact is that the costs of the UAW have made it impossible for American companies to compete at the lower price points of smaller cars. At the same time, the union shops often turned out lower quality than non union shops.

Will the UAW "succeed" to the same extent that the steel workers union succeeded and completely ruin the domestic makers?
