Deal of the Day: $43,000 for 103-inch Plasma TV

By David LaGesse

Posted: February 10, 2009

Hurry, only one discounted floor model left at Sixth Avenue Electronics. Knocked down nearly 40 percent off list price, the 103-inch Panasonic comes with a built-in HDTV tuner and weighs 485 pounds.

Or be a stick in the mud like folks at fatwallet.com who complain about the lack of an HDMI port, or that the set only displays 1080p. Or who whine about the recession.

Fun topic

Dave,

According to the FatWallet topic to which you linked, it looks like our members had as much fun with this TV deal as you.

We appreciate the mention. It's great to see the FatWallet community as a resource for consumers, blogger, journalists...

Thanks,

Laura P., FatWallet.com

THE Gaint Tv

I HAVE SEEN THIS PLASMA TV AND I CAN SAY ITS REALLY A PIECE OF TECHNOLOGY AT ITS BEST.

Give me a break

If someone has EARNED the money to afford this TV so what. I would be more concerned about the people that have been elected to serve the people of America that are spending double the amount on jet fuel just for her plane.

There is nothing wrong with wealth and materialism, it's called success. Try it sometime.
