Interestingly, I think that, in the end, the real users of this technology won't be doting parents who want to put their kids in funny backgrounds (as was shown in the Casio demonstration). I think it's more likely that the kids themselves, who are usually the ones who can take new tech and really run with it, are going to use this to create videos, tell stories, and develop their own special-effects adventures.

The solution is simple: Just don't buy this AMAZING camera.

You are free to use old technology as long as you like.
