Reader Disappointed that TVs are Turning Green

By David LaGesse

I dashed off a piece the other day, titled Analyst Says All Flat-Panel TVs Will be Green by 2014

Reader Mike of IL rose up to shout:

Don't age well, do they?

Hey, I buy a color TV, I expect it not to lose all but one of its colors in just a few years. This is built in obsolescence! Outrage!

Green Bull

Green this, green that...blah blah blah. The "Go Green" movement is just another excuse to control us and take more of our money.

Burn your power sucking plasmas proudly and defiantly!

I want mine to turn red.

I worked for Panasonic for many years and the best one was that one day a little old lady carried her microwave OVEN into to the Service center. She put the good sized oven on the counter, and after she caught her breath she asked, "I need someone to show me how to light the pilot in this oven>"

Good thing our service center wasn't in China.
