Opportunity! Don't piddle it away.

If Americans don't press Congress to hold electronic medical records "hostage" until underwriting on pre-existing conditions is outlawed, we are the dumbest people in the developed world.

These electronic "efficiencies" are all going to flow to the bottom lines of incorporated providers----with not one cent accruing to you, the citizen. Not only that, but absent liberal legislation to the contrary, you'll soon find yourself signing a fine-print disclaimer agreeing to "hold the doctor harmless" if he actually sees or RELIES ON your electronic record. Bet on it. This ain't progress, UNLESS you get your guaranteed right to buy a policy at community rating with no medical underwriting. And THAT will only happen with wall-to-wall Democrats
