RE: uh huh ?

I paid 500 bucks plus tax for my PS3 , I also paid 70 bucks a real HDMI cable.

360 will stream OVER 10,000 movies from NETFLIX INCLUDING HD at NO EXTRA COSTS.

Straight from the press conference so what don't you understand ???

Xbox360 vs PS3

Microft sell a game console, Sony sells an entertainment system. Xbox live cost $50 per year and pay $12 per month for stream Netfix movies. Sony Playstation Network is free and you can download the movie in HD. Then there will be Sony's "Life with Playstation" (partnership with Google) and "Home". Soon I can drop my computer altogether. Oh, then there is the top notch games.

RE: uh huh ?

Netflix will have over 10,000 movies on the 360 this fall including HD.

Straight from the horses mouth.

I paid 500 + tax for my PS3 and another 60 bucks for a real HDMI input. The cheap movies are in 640 p for some reason and only the huge blockbuster movies are in 1080p.

uh huh?

A PS3 with blu ray is $399 not $500. The prices of the movies themselves are on par with DVD's now. You may pay $5 more depending on where you buy them but gone are the $30 - $40 days. You can also find a sub $200 older player now. Netflix doesn't stream HD. In fact they only stream 480i, the worst possible resolution. It looks awful on a large screen TV. They also have a very limited selection of streaming movies. Sony pictures has an extensive library of blockbusters.

Blu Ray

Blu Ray is over hyped. So you pay over 500 bucks in the end for the player, then you have to pay 30 to 40 bucks per movie while we are in a recession ?

Oh Boy ! I'd rather streem Netflix in high def on a 360 for a dollar.

my thoughts

Man you people are going to the extremes now the media needs some watch dogs apparently to give them some discipline. How can you guys sleep at night when you are spending most of the night coming up with spin to derail a good thing. To me this is just good marketing there covering there bases. you are the type of moron that keeps making Americans look like complete idiots. Unfortunately you have a loader voice then most Americans.
