Free Zimbra Software Survives Microsoft Scare

Back to blog

Never heard of it, but I will check it out. If it's anything like Open Office it will definitely be worth it. Thank you.

Zimbra user here

My company currently uses Zimbra and we are a Microsoft partner. As head of IT we do use some Microsoft products. Obviously Windows and Office are crucial for much of our employees. I can say Zimbra users are probably not much concern for Microsoft. However, I will do everything in my power to minimize their products should they ever go after Zimbra. We are not big enough or profitable enough to afford Exchange. However, our software products we sell require customers to use Microsoft Server and SQL. I will work hard to switch all customers to non-Microsoft solutions if they touch Zimbra.
