people dont understand, when you drive a new car off the lot it looses 30% to 50% of its value! so to the man with the white-box pc scrap-it! and sell the parts on ebay .

I have a custom-built desktop that is being constantly upgraded. The price offered me, a paltry $155, is unacceptable inasmuch as I have around $2,000 invested in the machine. It's a home computer, dual-boot, which they do't have a place to list, with XP Pro, Vista Ultimate 32 and 64 bt OS's, again which they don't seem to care about.White-box systems are for the most part much better than brands such as HP, Lenovo or whichever. A computer is like a tool, say a screwdriver, a tool to be used, only on a daily basis. Yes I use mine at home but I ue it som 40 to 50 hours a week. My quote, if it had been around $300 to $500 would have acceptable, but the sum offred is not. I plan to check out various other sites (easily found on any search site) and see their offers. I aso don't believe in a Paypal system. I don't use it, consideing it's very buggy and easily hacked. In fact eBay is pretty much useless to me. As are other auction sites. Cash is my king, not Paypal. The site leaves too much to be desired to be used by an intelligent person.An intelligent person would not recommend it.

Ifyou feel this crisism is too harsh, well that is an opinion of yours and possibly others. I tell it as I feel or see it, not as others want to hear it.
