Subscribers to Combined XM and Sirius Face Confusing Choices

All I know is...

I bought a lifetime subscription to Sirius and then the next year they dropped the NHL. I was hurt, devastated, distraught, there were no words. Well, maybe that's dramatic, but I was mad since I had just dropped 500$ on it and really wanted to be able to listen to hockey primarily on my long commutes home. So, this is good for me as long as I get the NHL back.

First of all on The Merrit Pkwy there is a choppy signal because of the trees. Howard Stern is not nearly as entertaining as he was in his NBC days. It is not profanity that is funny, it's the absence of it! I am in my early 60's and I like listening to Vinyl rewiwnd, The Pulse, Prime Country and ch 12 used to be Shuffle but now it's something call The Bridge.

Siriusly Now!

How can intelligent, thoughtful folks like USN&WR readers listen to a degrading, guttermouth person like Howard?

I'm looking forward to the new pricing changes for satellite radio, as my free subscription is coming to an end. But, I won't be listening to Howard trash.

XM is horrible

I have both. Why would you get satelite radio if there are comercials on the music stations (XM). Sirius's music content not only commercial free but is much more vast. You can say what you want about stern, but people like him and will listen to what he says. When have you ever heard of a smaller company buying a larger company? XM knew they were done when they didn't land stern. The first order of business for the new company is to get rid of that oprah channel. what a waste of money.

Some of you are probably upset that you didn't make the correct stock calls, or you "think" your service will get worse. Please, it's time to shut up or leave the building and stop trying to predict what's going to happen to your service - you've already been wrong, so leave it to Mel Karmazin et al. to deliver a quality product - or continue to enjoy your FM w/out complaining.

XM VS Sirius

I have had both Sirius and XM recievers. First hand, I can tell you that XM beats Sirius across the board. From quality to support. I think the merger will hurt XM. I can only hope that Sirius will have something to offer.....well, I can hope can't I?!

Howard Stearn

I purchased XM's 3 year contract because Howard Stearn was not represented with XM. Howard is smart but in my opinion is still a jerk and a pin-head. I will cancel my XM contract if Howard's channel becomes non-exclusive.

Stern's Revenge

Howard Stern has said he will NEVER again vote for a Democrat because both Dem commissioners carried out the orders of the NAB and tried to bankrupt Sirius. Let's hope he puts his mouth where his money is, and talks continuously about Obama's communist past (literally!) and empty speeches that disguise a radical agenda. Do you remember 9/11, Howard? The people who danced in the streets as the towers burned are all Obama supporters.
