MagicJack Makes Cheap Internet Calls Easy

Majic Jack worked for me

majic jack worked just fine for me... I had an old IBM aptiva... not very powerful, set it up with xp and plug the majic jack in.... I even took the output of the majic jack and connected it to my main phone terminal...poof all my home phone jacks work. Since the computer needs to be on i set up a small home server on the same box.... no problems at all!!!

To be fair ...my household does not use the phone a lot...we all have cell phones with plenty of talk time, but we got a phone number...calls come in, calls go out and the call quality is good... not the best, but good.

i purchased on it has simply fell apart. when received it. IT was n pieces and I put it together and now 3 months of Haven to unplug replug it it has failed broken whatever in pieces. now they want Ne to buy another.

This is no acceptable only after about 3 months.

find somebody who is computer savey and get a decent size computer and you should have no problems. i have magicjack and love it.

magic jack is garbage!!!!!!! It doesn't work and when you chat with a tech he has you go and change and adjust and delete and alter all types of files in you computer then you wake up and realize that this is someone you know nothing about telling you to do this and that to your computer files so you can save a couple dollars on a phone bill!!!! Sounds crazy to me. Stick with what works. Not magic jack. I purchased 5 years worth and I have not had one clear good phone call in or out of my system. I tried different usb ports shorter cords different phones and chats with techs and downloading updates and adjusting microphone and volumes. Nothing works. It is a scam. I would like to find one person using magic jack and use their phone to see if it works. I let the 30 day trial expire because I wanted to give it a chance. I believed the c net reviews and all the other reviews I saw that said it was great. I even recommended it to people. Now I wish I didn't.
